CIDFo -The Creative Innovation Digital Forum is an annual international pitching and showcasing event where digital content meets technology and investment. CIDFo takes place in Norwich, England. ((www.cidfo.com )) CIDFo 2014 will be held at the (The Forum ), Norwich, England. CIDFo forms part of (Norwich Sound and Vision ). For the previous four years the event was based in Cambridge and was known as the Cambridge International Digital Forum. Participation is free to successful applicants. CIDFo has benefited from generous support by UK Trade and Investment, whose acclaimed one-day (High Growth Start-up Workshops ) are feeders for CIDFo. Created by John Marshall in 2008, CIDFo's mission is to develop events and activities where the results are real business and inspired investment in digital content, not theoretical discussion. Based on the idea that, "content is the creative use of technology", CIDFo introduces creative media producers to cutting-edge digital technologies and vice versa. CIDFo combines project pitching from all media genres, digital technology showcasing, global video conferences, finance and networking. Participant numbers are usually limited to 100. The event is deliberately international, seeking the most stimulating digital media content creators and technologies, guided by leading names in their fields.
